Specialists in fittings for pipework since 1978

PLIMAT was founded in 1978 and began trading in 1980, after some three years of preparatory work.

PLIMAT is a company highly specialised in fittings for pipework, whose main concern is the production of parts of superior quality. PLIMAT products are properly studied and designed, then tested and controlled in the laboratory. They comply with the standards in force for each type of fitting. Always seeking to answer the demands of the market, a project was set in motion that in 2000 brought a new plant on stream, PLIMEX, dedicated exclusively to the manufacture of high quality valves.

The fittings we produce for potable water and other fluids, given their chemical and mechanical resistance and their harmlessness, solve many problems simply and economically when used at the temperatures and pressures recommended by PLIMAT.

Plásticos Industriais Matos was founded in 1978 in Marinha Grande and manufactures plastic fittings for pipework. We produce by injection moulding with our own tooling, which lets us answer special runs and the standards of different markets.

The catalogue covers European metric, BS in inches, IPS and NPT, which makes the range usable on site in Portugal, Spain, France and in export markets outside Europe.
